About Lee A Scott
A LITTLE ABOUT ME!
About Lee A Scott: Lee led his his first worship song at four years old, and preached his first sermon at the age of nine; however, it was in Marine Corps Boot Camp that he led 13 men in his platoon to put on Christ in baptism right there in the Base Pool. That started him on his journey to a life in ministry.
Lee has served as a youth minister, worship and family life minister, and pulpit minister over the past 30 years. Lee and his wife Carey came to Texas in 2021 after preaching stops in California, Washington, Arizona and Pennsylvania, where he had leading worship and preached. He also worked full time in home improvement sales, a barista at Starbucks, a carpet and window cleaner and whatever else came along to pay the rent and put food on the table.
Lee and Carey have three grown children that live in California and Texas, as well as FIVE amazing grandchildren.
Lee currently serves the Chaplain for Marine Corps League Detachment #1465. He is also an active member with the DFW Veterans Chamber of Commerce. Lee serves our Texas families at Dignity Memorial helping preplan funeral and cemetery arrangements. Carey is an office manager at MarketScale in downtown Dallas. In the short time that she has been there, her impact on the company is seen and felt by all.
Lee and Carey’s main passion (except for those 5 amazing grandkids) continues to be through their ministry. They are both currently serving on the a cappella praise team at The Branch Church in Farmers Branch. Lee enjoys working with the Men’s Life ministry as well as celebrate recovery. Carey serves as one of the group leaders for the Embrace Grace Ministry.
